Family History – These apartments are managed by Beck Brothers Pty Ltd that is a long established family business. Started back in 1901 by Chas Batt Beck

- Herbert Beck, Cliff Beck, Chas Batt Beck outside store on corner of wells street and bay road. Now Nullabour Crossing and Op Shop.
- Becks General store on corner of Wells street and Bay road , cars for sale and Beck Brothers car dealership . Now nullabour crossing on corner and becks mitre 10
- Cliff Beck ouside dealership on bay road where mitre 10 is now.
- Poochera Branch opened 1925. Closed ?
- General Store- Left had side of this building was grocery,with second window from left a small counter for wine sales with remaining wine in cellar , right had side of buidling for drapery Hardware products in out of sight shed to left of this building where Moceon Restaurant is currently . Picture Likely taken around 1960. Beck Brothers bought this building and shed of WH Betts 1953.
- Around late 1960’s Becks General Store ,with grocery,wine cellar and drapery in this building. Ralphs Lees cafe and Lees motel rooms under the cafe to the right where 3 cars in the picture are. Beck Brothers Pty Ltd bought Ralphs Lees area and the area further right around 1974 Lees motel and cafe are now after extensive renovations the left had side of the current IGA supermarket.
- 1980’s Hairdresser, Blue fin shop, Streaky bay bakery shop and becks office (these shops under demolition) (was originally ralph less cafe/motel) Becks Tom the cheap supermarket, beck wine cellars and lastly Cafe run by various owners. Becks Drapery moved into demolished area in 1980’s. When Jessie beck retired supermarket expanded into this drapery area very late 1990;s.
- Around 1990 Homestead Hardware in this building and shed to left. Now Betta Electrical.
- Started 2011 to demolish behind the IGA Supermarket. Was remaining area not yet renovated from Ralf Lees old motel rooms and bakery .. Iga used last unrenovated older area as a supermarket staff room. Plus old rooms downstairs demolished to create new apartments 5 and 6 Originaly above area was Lees cafe with upstairs flat at back, and room at bottom. Later becks office , bakery , sentinel(bluefin), and old flat upstairs . This upstairs totally upgraded for drapery in 1980’s Upstairs Now part of iga supemarket and trevelyn smith electrical with new apartment 6 on second storey and apartment 5 downsairs
